Paintball is a sport in which players compete by shooting paintballs at the opposing team of players. This often is done in woods or fields. They use a compressed gas, "airsoft" to propel a pellet or BB-sized ball of metal that is about 0.12" (3~5 mm) in diameter. The term "Airsoft" is derived from the Japanese word for "plastic". The advantage of this type is that it's cheaper and smaller than regular guns, which makes it a choice for beginners and people on a budget.
